Dear Aspirant, Although both JSS and LPU are good. I always recommend LPU for Computer Science and Engineering over other private universities like JSS, CU, and others. I will tell you the reason why I am saying this. I would highlight a few pieces of information about the CSE at LPU. Placements are very good at LPU. Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. The maximum package availed by the student for CSE is 42 LPA. PEP Classes-These classes help students for placements so that they can get selected in the pre-final year because the companies will start visiting for the recruitment of students from a pre-final year. Some of the students go for internships also in their final year. The Knowledge Review has rated LPU as the 10th best Training & Placement Institution in India. Tie-ups with Industries: LPU has tie-ups with many reputed industries such as IBM, Intel, Xebia, Upgrade. Comptia, Transorg, Geeksforgeeks, etc. That help students to explore themselves more in their field. Scholarships: LPU provides scholarships to bright students every year worth crore rupees to all the students based on their academics, extracurricular activities, and other factors. Here are following reasons which prove that LPU is best for CSE branch and also for placements: 1. Excellent placement record of CSE branch. 2. Industry Oriented Computer Science programmes. 3. Highly Experienced Faculty 4. Affordable Fees. 5. Having both UGC and AICTE approvals 6. Great infrastructure which is still increasing The placements are completely based on the performance, as so many good companies come to campus drive in the college. Apart from on-campus drive college gives us an opportunity to go for off-campus also. The current placement status of my college is good and college tries their best so students of all departments got placed in the genuine companies before the final semester exam. Overall view of placement in this college is very good. So that every student can be placed in companies visited such as SNAP deal, IBM, Amazon, Wipro, TCS and many more. For the Job prospects, we have careers advise lectures every term. Lots of career organizations are promoted by the department and we are encouraged to sign up to these for extra advice and information. The best thing about the teaching of this course is that it is research-led. The lecturers are done regularly followed by proper research; to enhance their teaching. I like the fact that some of the lecturers encourage us to engage during lectures and discuss issues that arise in the subject they're teaching. It would be great if more lecturers did this. Time to time various events are organized in the university like workshops, Science quiz and many more events which explore the students knowledge. The facilities are really good - with a decent and hygienic quantity also. I tend to use the library computers and printers - of which there is a good supply.

I am a 3rd-year LPU student and we as engineering students use to get to do various google workshops for free, they get to participate in national level engineering contests where students can actually do something that they like and exhibit their talents, not only that many CSE students of LPU are now working in big companies abroad at higher packages. Lovely Professional University has collaborated with Google for providing Android specialisation training to its engineering students within the campus. LPU faculty will be trained by the technical experts from BOSCH. Students and faculty will also be working under the guidance of experts from BOSCH. Students are exposed to higher-order problem-solving skills by making them part of competitive programming events like Codechef, Hackerrank, Topcoder, etc. Professors are easily approachable in the college and are well experienced. They are very supportive of all technicalities. Students can contact them anytime for their study purpose. The latest teaching methods are used in the classroom.

I don't know about lpu. But if you want to do CSE you can go to one university which is in Punjab near LPU only. University is giving benchmarks in terms of placement. Your future depends upon your knowledge gained during your course, not on the university. Chandigarh University provides fellowships also. I don't know much about JSS Noida, but I can recommend Chandigarh University for the CSE course. Computer Science Engineering students of the University Institute of Engineering (UIE) created history as Top Multi-National offered the highest package of Rs. 52.11 lacs for the Engineering branch. IT giants such as Microsoft, IBM, SAP Labs, and Hewlett Packard visited CU and recruited more than 2030 CSE/IT Engineering students.
