Well both the universities offer good education; here I would like to shed some light on LPU in terms of Education, Rankings, Accreditation, Placements and Scholarships offered by LPU, thereby making it the best private university in India. Being alumni, it is mention worthy to share that LPU brings inclusive growth and is goal oriented university. Engineering at LPU primarily CSE is a top-notch programme offering colossal growth to students and has the highest placement records where renowned companies visit our campus and offers record breaking packages that of 64 LPA (Lacs per annum) by Google, 62.72 LPA by Eightfold. Dear Aspirant, Although both JSS and LPU are good. I always recommend LPU for Computer Science and Engineering over other private universities like JSS, CU, and others. I will tell you the reason why I am saying this. I would highlight a few pieces of information about the CSE at LPU. Placements are very good at LPU. Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. The maximum package availed by the student for CSE is 42 LPA. PEP Classes-These classes help students for placements so that they can get selected in the pre-final year because the companies will start visiting for t

Here are following reasons which prove that LPU is best for CSE branch and also for placements:
    1. Excellent placement record of CSE branch.
    2. Industry Oriented Computer Science programmes.
    3. Highly Experienced Faculty
    4. Affordable Fees.
    5. Having both UGC and AICTE approvals
    6. Great infrastructure which is still increasing
The placements are completely based on the performance, as so many good companies come to campus drive in the college. Apart from on-campus drive college gives us an opportunity to go for off-campus also. The current placement status of my college is good and college tries their best so students of all departments g

I am a 3rd-year LPU student and we as engineering students use to get to do various google workshops for free, they get to participate in national level engineering contests where students can actually do something that they like and exhibit their talents, not only that many CSE students of LPU are now working in big companies abroad at higher packages. Lovely Professional University has collaborated with Google for providing Android specialisation training to its engineering students within the campus. LPU faculty will be trained by the technical experts from BOSCH. Students and faculty will also be working under the guidance of exper

I don't know much about JSS Noida, but I can recommend Chandigarh University for the CSE course. Computer Science Engineering students of the University Institute of Engineering (UIE) created history as Top Multi-National offered the highest package of Rs. 52.11 lacs for the Engineering branch. IT giants such as Microsoft, IBM, SAP Labs, and Hewlett Packard visited CU and recruited more than 2030 CSE/IT Engineering students. World's top IT giant Microsoft selected Computer Science and IT Engineering students consecutively for the last three years, while the selections have increased three times and touched 15. Dear Prospective Student, Despite the fact that both JSS and LPU are excellent. I usually suggest CU above other private colleges like JSS, CU, and others for Computer Science and Engineering. I will explain why I am saying this. I'd like to highlight a few facts concerning the CSE at CU. At CU, placements are excellent. Every year, around 500 firms, including national and global corporations, come to CU for placement. The maximum package for CSE available to students is 42 LPA. PEP Sessions-These classes prepare students for placements so that they may be chosen in the pre-final year since firms begin coming to recruit students in the

Hi there,

Yes, LPU conducted LPUNEST entrance test for its various programmes. However, it depends upon in which stream you want to take admission. For many UG/PG programmes such as btech, B.Sc agriculture, law, management etc. test is mandatory for both admission and scholarship purpose. For some other courses such as computer application, BBA, hotel management, Bsc IT,   commerce,   arts etc. test is only for scholarship purpose .

I hope this helps,

Thank you.

Both Chandigarh University (CU) and Lovely Professional University (LPU) are known for engineering, but if we think of Electrical Engineering, LPU appears better in many ways. As a student, I personally feel that LPU has a very practical approach to learning. Their labs are state of the art, and well-resourced, and I find that the faculty usually support us to work on real-time projects, which build confidence to take on challenges in industry. The university brings many industry professionals for guest lecturers, and have affiliations with top companies in the world, so this gives students a greater opportunity for internships and pla

Dear reader,

Taking admission at LPU is a great choice. LPUNEST is their own entrance and scholarship exam.

The candidate's merit rank on the test and the courses and specializations they selected during the online preference submission are the main factors used to assign seats for LPU NEST counseling.  The availability of seats in the selected programs is another factor that affects allocation.

For more information kindly contact their concerned department.

I hope this information helps.
