LPU NEST has a dual role, it also provides scholarships to the students based upon their performance. Yes, LPU conducts it own entrance and Scholarship Exam I. e LPU NEST. It is a National Entrance and Scholarship Test for admission to various programmes in Lovely Professional University. This test forms the basis of eligibility and scholarship for most of the programmes and for some of the programmes test is applicable only for scholarship.

Yes dear, LPU conducts a national level entrance test LPU NEST (Lovely Professional University National Entrance and Scholarship Test). LPU NEST is considered for offering Scholarship as well as determining Eligibility for admission in various programmes. The aim of conducting the test is to check how far the concepts are clear to the student. LPU NEST provides an opportunity to applicants who could not perform well in the qualifying examination owing to various personal, academic or procedure specific reasons and is therefore not able to derive the benefit of scholarship scheme of the university. To take admission to some of the courses your LPU NEST score must be more than the set qualifying marks at that time and to avail scholarship it should be more than the cut-off. LPU NEST Cutoff is the minimum marks applicants need to attain for admission at LPU. The cutoff is dependent on the number of candidates, number of vacant seats, marks obtained by candidates in the entrance exam cut off of last year. The cutoff is divided into three categories and the shortlisted candidates receive the scholarship based on their marks/cut off category. Lovely Professional University also provides study grant of Rs. 1 lac per student to study at institutes like IITs/ NITs/ Iims/ NLUs/ IHMs/ NIDs/ IITs (DoD/ IDC)/ IIITDM/ NIFTs on qualifying the LPU NEST exam. LPU NEST Exam is conducted in various schedules. Study grant, is released after the conduct of all schedules. Scholarship can be availed in all the Programmes of the University, ranging from Diploma to Ph.D. through LPU NEST score, and various other schemes. Yes, LPU conducted LPU NEST exam which is the scholarship and eligibility test. In various programmes LPU NEST exam is compulsory whereas in other courses student can appear for this for scholarship purposes only. On the basis of LPU NEST exam, student can fulfill the eligibility of the programme and can avail maximum scholarship also.

Yes if you want a scholarship then there are 3 categories, i) On basic of 12th marks if you are planning for UG admission. ii) On basic AIR in top exams like JEE, NEET & CAT. iii) LPU NEST (Taken By LPU).

However, LPU offers scholarships based on the other factors as well given below: LPUNEST exam Qualifying exam National Level Test R & D Co-curricular Social Service Bravery Awards Sports Cultural Scholarship for Orphan Applicants/Single girl child (Need-Based) Scholarship for Person with Certain Disability Special Scholarship for Toppers of Education Board Students have been awarded scholarships worth Rs. 100+ crores in last year only.
