Definitely not, you will not be seeing this type of incidences at the LPU. In fact, students from different states and countries enjoy time spent with others and are eager to learn from each other.

Dear Friend, A BIG NO, LPU does not do kind of discrimination regarding color, caste, gender, LGBT community, etc. LPU considers everyone equal for admission, scholarship, opportunities, etc. I would like to tell you that every year LPU conducts 2 the biggest events named ONE WORLD and ONE INDIA which show the integrity of LPU and diversity. LPU believes diversity is the power of any nation. Hope this helps.

The answer to your query is big no. More than 30,000 students are enrolled in Lovely Professional University at the moment. These students hail both from various nations and regions of India. Teachers and students come from around 15 different nations. The university vehemently opposes discrimination on the basis of race, caste, or any other factor. Currently there are 30000+ students enrolled in Lovely professional university. These students are from different parts of India and from different countries also. Students are from 15+ different countries, teachers as well. The university strictly disapproves of discrimination regarding color, caste or on any basis for that matter. The university is a small world in itself and believes in unity. The university celebrates each festival and culture. The university celebrates its diverse culture by conducting events like one india and one world. Wherein students from different states and countries come together and showcase their culture

LPU is intolerant to apartheid, sexual harassment, violence, drugs, and indiscipline. You just don't worry about that account. I would rather say LPU is a global village. There are students from across the globe from over 70 countries who study at LPU.

LPU DOES NOT TOLERATE DISCRIMINATION REGARDING COLOR, CASTE AND LOOKS OF INDIVIDUALS and has strict policy to deal against it. LPU has more than 6000 foreign students from more than 70 countries including Afghanistan, Nepal, Bhutan, Srilanka, Bangladesh etc.
24/7 Security and Hospital Services
LPU is a world in itself, from 8 stored shopping mall (where one can buy from clothes to laptops etc. ), Eateries like Domino's, food of any taste, Gaming hubs etc. NON-Veg has also been facilitated in LPU now, one does not have to leave the campus for any thing.
24/7 security and hospital and ambulance service is provided. Boys are not allowed in Girls Hostels and girls cannot leave the university without parents approval. Female securities are their to deal with females. LPU has a strong anti ragging policy: no such kind of activities is seen and tolerated in the universities. Because of so much diversity available, every body: may it be of race, culture, ethnicity, country, all are same and everybody is respected. ALL ARE ONLY STUDENTS inside the LPU, while one is free to express their culture and values without any restrictions. In events like One World and One India, one is able to express their cultures and tradition in a healthy competition. Their are students of all races, communities, cultures, tradition, countries etc. Studying here in the university from all over India and the world. With quality education, LPU provides good holistic development of the students to tackle the corporate world and achieve ones dream. Recommendation/Suggestions:
However as one can understand, these services are available for on the campus accommodation, that is by using accommodation in the University. I would advise to use the on campus accommodation. Their are various accommodation facilities available outside the university and one cannot be able to provide the safety to the students residing off campus or out side university. But while on campus or inside the campus, the university to the best of its knowledge and capability will provide the safety to its students without any discrimination.
