I do not compare any educational institutes. My friends did B.Tech in the CSE programme from LPU, so I would be sharing the CSE details at LPU more accurately. There are a few points I would like to share about why CSE is good at LPU. Good Placement: LPU has a good placement record for CSE students. Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. A few of them are Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, etc. In which they are placed. The maximum package availed for CSE is 42 lacs. Per annum by Microsoft. LPU has a very good placement and achieved awards for employability also. The main thin...more

Jaypee Noida is a good university. In north India, everyone path of education seems to converge to one destination - Lovely Professional University, The statement is not an exaggeration. The staggering numbers of 30000 students in one closed campus from across the country and globe vouch for the fact. The B Tech CSE programme is one programme that LPU is known for. Well-tailored course content to meet the global industrial needs, good faculty, and state-of-the-art facilities have left many NITs far behind. The B Tech CSE programme primarily deals with the development as well as designing of computer software and hardware processes with...more

Yes, LPU conducted LPUNEST entrance test for its various programmes. However, it depends upon in which stream you want to take admission. For many UG/PG programmes such as btech, B.Sc agriculture, law, management etc. test is mandatory for both admission and scholarship purpose. For some other courses such as computer application, BBA, hotel management, Bsc IT, commerce, arts etc. test is only for scholarship purpose .

Both Chandigarh University (CU) and Lovely Professional University (LPU) are known for engineering, but if we think of Electrical Engineering, LPU appears better in many ways. Their labs are state of the art, and well-resourced, and I find that the faculty usually support us to work on real-time projects, which build confidence to take on challenges in industry. The university brings many industry professionals for guest lecturers, and have affiliations with top companies in the world, so this gives students a greater opportunity for internships and pla
