Dear Aspirant, IIIT Sonepat and LPU Jalandhar are good public and private institutes respectively. IIT Sonepat offers only B.Tech (CSE)/B.Tech (IT). While LPU offers more than 200+ programme in several disciplines such as humanities, management, fine arts, law, engineering, agriculture, paramedical Science, etc. Being an alumnus of LPU I would like to share a few details of LPU with you. Placement: In LPU, more than 550+ national and multinational companies visit for placement. The maximum package availed for the Engineering programme is 42 LPA. Scholarships/Financial Assistance: LPU provides very good scholarships to bright students with good academic records, sports, or extracurricular activities achievement. LPU also helps students in the Education loan facility. Research Achievement: 1. Stanford University ranks 13 LPU faculty members amongst the top 2% of scientists in the world 2. Researchers endorse 'Wild Himalayan Fig' aka Bedu as a natural pain reliever Faculty/Staff: All professors and staff are well qualified from IITs, NITs, Iims, and top-ranked universities all over the world. Infrastructure: Every facility is available on the campus itself, a student does not need to go outside for anything. On the campus, Central Library, Hospital facility is available 24*7 for staff and students, Shopping mall, Indoor Sports Stadium with 3 Olympic size Swimming Pools, Public/Private Sector Banks, ATM, etc. Ranking: 1.
