    hi

The university truly boasts a vast campus complete with contemporary facilities and infrastructure, specialised labs and laboratories, skilled professors, outstanding placements, and even the finest fests and events.

Furthermore, the university is also recognised as the No 1 private university in India according to QS Asia University Rankings 2025 and has excelled in NIRF rankings as well; it also recently became the first private university to secure the MAKA trophy.

The faculty members are genuinely impressive. They are not merely instructors; they are mentors. They assist students with everything, from succeeding in interviews to se

Always choose the institute that along with good education provides you a platform to improve your ideas and provides a stage to bring your innovative ideas into practice. As far as these colleges are concerned, I would prefer Lovely Professional University. LPU is much better than any other University. It is a UGC-recognized and renowned University and is considered as one of the top 5 universities of the country because of its quality education and unbeatable placements, immense on course exposures, and a beautiful 600 acres campus to live in with the latest facilities. Before searching for any University, You should compare universi

Both Lovely Professional University (LPU) and Chandigarh University (CU) are good, but if we talk in favor of LPU, here's why it stands out:

    1. Campus & Facilities

LPU has a huge, modern, and well-maintained campus with world-class facilities. From high-tech labs, libraries, and sports complexes to hostels and food courts, everything is designed for student comfort.

Both universities are known for engineering, but Chandigarh University has been rising fast. Their #20 NIRF ranking in 2024 and #231 in QS World Rankings 2025 prove that they are improving every year. They have labs where students work on AI, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and robotics. Big companies like IBM, Microsoft, and Tech Mahindra have set up research centers here. That means students don't just study theory but get real exposure. Placements are also great. They have a dedicated department that helps students with mock interviews, coding tests, and soft skills. LPU is also well-known, but in terms of global recognition and ind

Chandigarh University (CU) admissions are generally based on CUCET scores for most of the courses. Students need to appear for the test or submit scores of any other accepted exams as stated by the university. Hence, in some cases, you may get admission in CU without CUCET. The CUCET test is also a scholarship test and if you want to get the scholarship benefits offered by the university based on CUCET scores, then you will have to appear for the exam.

The cutoff changes every year and we are in 2025, so you should know the cutoff for NCHMCT JEE 2025. For NCHMCT JEE 2025, the closing rank for Chandigarh University is around 11195 for the B.Sc. (Hons.) Hotel and Hospitality Management course. This number comes from the latest available round-wise data and gives a basic idea of the expected range. If we see older figures, the 2022 cutoff stayed close to 10201 as the opening rank in Round 1 and about 10382 as the closing rank in Round 2.

Yes, that's one of the main reasons. Chandigarh university's consistent performance in the QS Asia University Rankings has made it a popular choice among students.
