Yes, you can go for banking sector after B.Sc. Either you can go for IBPS-PO exam else you can go for MBA in BFSI from a top B-School like IIMs or MDI/SP Jain/TAPMI/IFMR/JBIMS known for finance.

You can easily do it because the minimum qualification to participate in the competitive exam related to banking is graduation and you have it. I would suggest you to go for higher studies in the same sector. You can join any company as well as take the job of a chemical advisor.
