yes.you can join army.but you must .maintain minimum percentail as prescribed by army recruiting board of India.

You can join Technical Corps of Indian Army such as Corp of Engineers and EME after B.Tech Mechanical Engineering . It is a good career and you can grow till Lt Gen rank.
