    No, pharmacists in India are not allowed to open their own clinics. According to the India Pharmacy Council, only doctors with an MBBS degree can open clinics. Pharmacists can open a chemist shop and dispense medicine, but they cannot start a clinic or prescribe medicine to patients.

    To operate a clinic or prescribe medication, one must have an MBBS degree. As a pharmacist, you can obtain a license to open a chemist or medicine shop where you can distribute medicines prescribed by doctors.
