Can I opt for computer science stream in engineering?
I have a keen interest in computer field.

Of course you can and you should given that you have interest in the same. You just have to make sure you get a good score in both JEE and 12th boards, or other entrance exams to get CSE. Since CSE is the branch in demand and closes at an early rank, you need to get a good rank.

whatever college you decide to take admission in, make sure you know about the placement scenario there so that you know what to expect after 4 years.
