no you can not practice allopathy after bams, presently because of shortage of doctors and unable to give service to people government is keeping quite about who are practicing allopahy after bams, how can one who studied the effect of herbal medicine can prescribe allopathy drugs without knowing ho

u dont know bams syllabus,it has allopathy as well as ayurvedic streams,then how could u say the above,and remember one thing u r disable to run hospitals without a bams

Hi, to become an allopathic doctor you need to have the MBBS degree. In fact an MD can also be done in allopathy only after MBBS and not BAMS. However there are very bright options after BAMS as well. The BAMS graduates can find employment with Ayurvedic private/ government hospitals, in pharma comp
