    Hi,
    No, If you want to practice in India after completing your MBBS from abroad, you havd to pass the MCI examination. Whether its private or government, MCI exam is mandatory

    Though it's an old question you have to clear the MCI test before start practicing in India. If some higher authority found you that you haven't cleared your MCI screening test then you might be in a trouble.
