Can I prepare for GATE exam after completing B.Sc in CS? What are the advantages of the same?

  • Hello Ramkishor,
    After doing B.Sc, you are not eligible to take GATE exam as it is for BE/B.Tech graduates to do M.Tech from IITs. Only with a B.Sc or BCA degree you cannot take GATE exam.
    You can do M.Sc and then you can appear for GATE exam. You need to have M.Sc degree if you have done B.Sc, but if you have completed B.Tech or BE degree then you are eligible directly for GATE.
