Yes, as a B.Com graduate, you are eligible to pursue a 3-year LLB course, provided that you meet the other eligibility criteria set by the college or university offering the course. The Bar Council of India has set the minimum eligibility criteria for the 3-year LLB course as graduation in any discipline from a recognized university with a minimum aggregate of 45% marks.
However, it is recommended that you check the specific eligibility criteria and admission procedures of the college or university offering the LLB course to confirm your eligibility and the admission process. You can visit the official website of the college or universi

Yes, CUCET is compulsory for Chandigarh University admissions. The university conducts the CUCET test for both scholarships and admissions to its courses. The test is conducted for courses in the fields of Engineering, Archcitecture, Law, Pharmacy, etc. Students with valid NEET/ NATA/ JEE scores can get admission into the BOptom, BPT, BArch courses without appearing for CUCET.

Chandigarh University (CU) admissions are generally based on CUCET scores for most of the courses. Students need to appear for the test or submit scores of any other accepted exams as stated by the university. Hence, in some cases, you may get admission in CU without CUCET. The CUCET test is also a scholarship test and if you want to get the scholarship benefits offered by the university based on CUCET scores, then you will have to appear for the exam.

The cutoff changes every year and we are in 2025, so you should know the cutoff for NCHMCT JEE 2025. For NCHMCT JEE 2025, the closing rank for Chandigarh University is around 11195 for the B.Sc. (Hons.) Hotel and Hospitality Management course. This number comes from the latest available round-wise data and gives a basic idea of the expected range. If we see older figures, the 2022 cutoff stayed close to 10201 as the opening rank in Round 1 and about 10382 as the closing rank in Round 2.

Yes, that's one of the main reasons. Chandigarh university's consistent performance in the QS Asia University Rankings has made it a popular choice among students. Being ranked as the No.1 private university in India for three years in a row gives students confidence that they're joining a university recognised for its academic quality, global research, and strong placements. These rankings reflect real things students care about like how Well graduates are placed (employer reputation), how strong the teaching and research are (academic reputation), and how connected the university is globally (international research network).
