    If one of your degree is through correspondence, then there's no issue!
    Make sure B.Ed through correspondence is recognised by the NCTE. Now, as far PhD. is concerned, U.G.C has stopped recognizing any PhD through correspondence mode.

    Hello,
    Of course, yes. One can pursue B Ed as well as PhD simultaneously. One must however understand that it is one's ability to undergo hardship, willingness to spend long hours in studies are some of the essential requirements. B.Ed. is a two years course while Ph.D. may take around 3-4 years. So there will be enough time available while doing the research for PhD to take out time for studies of B.Ed. Its of course quite exhausting to simultaneously study for two different subjects but then there is nothing impossible in this world.
