    Yes, While drawing skills are helpful but they are not mandatory for all BFA specializations. Certain fields like sculpture, photography, animation, film-making and dance do not require traditional drawing skills. However, if you are choosing painting, illustration or applied arts then you will be required to develop drawing skills during the course. Most of the BFA programs start with basic drawing and sketching to help students improve.
