The CoA (Council of Architecture) has issued a new mandate. According to it, commerce and arts stream students won't be able to pursue B.Arch. course in future.
10+2 Science stream (with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects) passed from a recognised board will be the new minimum educational qualification required to pursue Bachelor of Architecture course. Minimum aggregate marks required in PCM subjects are 50% (along with valid NATA score).
The new minimum standards for Architecture education will come into effect from the academic year 2018 onwards.
