Yes, you can pursue for B.Des after completing class 12th with arts stream. Generally, design colleges have an eligibility criteria of 10+2 in any stream with minimum score of 55 percent. Maximum age limit is 23 years, as on the date of filling application forms, the upper age limit shall be relaxed by a period of five years for the candidates of Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribe/ Differently Able Person (PHP). There are two stages of the entrance examination. Students who have cleared 10+2 successfully are eligible for this course. Though some colleges ask for at least 50% marks in 10+2 for applying for Bachelor of Design.
Along with the above mentioned basic eligibility, students have to clear the entrance exams as well to be eligible for the course.
