Can I pursue B.Sc (hons) in botany with only zoology as a subsidiary subject and not chemistry?

In BSc Honours courses, one core subject is tought through out the course. And as of subsidary subject, it depends on individual that what he or she wants to select from the available options. In case there is no other subject available, you will have to study chemistry.
