If you are interested in exploring Agricultural Sciences and practices in contemporary times, you should go for B.Sc. Agriculture (Hons). B.Sc. Agriculture will get you to understanding soil, water, pesticides, technology, harvesting and maybe breeding. I must advise choosing the University that offers all-round development in both the courses. School of Agriculture, Lovely Professional University which is the FIRST PRIVATE SCHOOL to get accredited by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR). Students are also involved in Practical crop production, Rural and Work Experience (RAWE), Nursery raising for horticulture crops, Crop

Agriculture is a primary source of livelihood for the majority of Indians. Thus, generally, it remains the last priority among students choosing a career option. Which is a very wrong assumption. Agricultural graduates have a wide scope of career in public sector and private sector. In fact entrepreneurship is a great opportunity to pursue your prospective career in agricultural field. It is just a myth that Agriculture does not offer job opportunities. Lovely Professional University is the first private University who has got and accreditation from ICAR. Curriculum here is as per the guidelines of ICAR (Indian Council of Agricultur
