    Hello Kunal,
You can go for B.Sc. Biotechnology or B.Tech Biotechnology after your 12th with PCM. It might become quite difficult to survive in biotechnology because a PCM student is unaware of basic concepts of biology which are roots of biotechnology. Biotechnology is nothing but technical biology, where we use technology to develop or manipulate the nature's creation. In other words withe help of technology we exploit natures creation for the betterment of human life.
A PCM student can be successful in biotechnology just by few things:
1.In the vacations after 12th boards, he should join some coaching or do self study of basic biology.

Hi, Simply graduating may not be enough, you might have to study further and go into research in a big way, M.Tech and Ph.D. would lead you to these organizations depending upon your research area. Pursuing these programs from ordinary colleges will not be enough, you will have to do these from top universities/colleges of high repute like LPU. DVD.

Yes, it should not be hard for you to get admission to the University of Western Australia as an Indian student with 50% in class 12th. However, please note that it does not put you in the top applicants either. The general admission percentage requirement for international students is 50 to 65%.

Look at the other admission requirements -

  • English proficiency tests with IELTS (bands 6.5) or TOEFL iBT (82+)
  • High school Diploma from a recognised board like CBSE or ICSE etc.
  • Some course-specific subjects for Engineering programs

Top universities require a minimum of 80-90% in your 12th-grade board exams.

  • Average universities often accept students with 60-75%.
  • For highly competitive courses like Medicine, cut off is usually higher.
  • Strong SAT/ACT scores can also compensate for a slightly lower board percentage.
