Can I pursue B.Tech as a Commerce student?

If I pass Physics and Mathematics through NIOS and obtain a combined Class 12 marksheet, will I be eligible for B.Tech admission? I had Information Practices in Class 12 and am considering B.Tech instead of BCA + MCA due to the shorter duration and better career prospects.
