Can I pursue B.Tech if I achieve 2nd division in 12th?

    Yes, don't lose hope. There are universities that allows students with very less marks in 12th some of them are:

    1. WBJEE : It requires only 45% aggregate marks in mathematics, physics and chemistry/biology/ computer science/ biotechnology.
    2. COEP - PUNE : Students should have 45% aggregate marks in physics, chemistry and mathematics in 12th.
    3. DAIICT : Students have passed 12th or equivalent exams.
    4. One can go for some state colleges, students with lower marks in 12th are eligible.

    Above are few of the colleges there are more colleges which gives admission even with less percentage in 12th like IIIT-H, RVCE.

    Yes, a second division in 12th shouldn't restrict you from pursuing B.Tech. Below are some of the colleges you can look for:

    ->Admission to IIITs varies depending on the institute. Some base admission on JEE scores while others have their own entrance exams. The minimum 12th grade marks requirement can also vary but can be around 60% or more.

    ->IISc is a premier institute of Science and technology. Admission to the BTech programme is based on JEE Advanced scores. There is no specific cut-off for 12th marks but securing very high marks can improve your chances.
