Yes, if you are getting such an opportunity, grab it with both hands. Both of these streams are nice but if you have to choose one, I think you should go for bioinformatics because of its scope. But, first kindly confirm what was your percentage in B.Sc in life sciences?

Definitely, it is an upcoming and booming industry. You can even try for health informatics and bio analytics.
