Candidates who have completed their Bachelors of Education (B.Ed) are eligible for the Basic Training Certificate (BTC), which is mandatory for serving as assistant teachers in primary schools of Uttar Pradesh. Graduate candidates with Bachelors of Education degree are eligible for the post of primary and higher Primary teachers. Recruitment of which is scheduled to be completed before January, 2012.
