Can I pursue CSE even though my PCM of 11th and 12th was not up to mark? But I really like computers and really want to do engineering.

    Dear Aspirant, To get admission to the B.Tech (CSE), you must have to fulfill the eligibility criteria for the institute for which you are applying. Let me take an example of LPU as I did my engineering from LPU and can tell you better. At LPU, you should have a minimum of 60% marks in the 12th class with mandatory subjects English Math, and Physics to get admission in the B.Tech (CSE). Moreover, you need to qualify for the LPU NEST exam conducted by LPU.     As an alumnus of LPU, I feel proud to answer this question. I was a student in the B.Tech CSE of 2012 batch, the knowledge that I gained while my course duration has helped me a lot in shaping my career.     Hi there, let me tell you, B.Tech CSE is a course that is much vied for. Everyone wants to enroll in this programme. But the seats available will be less than the number of aspirants so the stakes for admission in this programme are high. In every institution, there are set parameters for admission to this programme. You will have fulfilled that criteria be it a percentage of marks in the qualifying exam or entrance exam. Secondly, you need to have studied the mandatory subjects English Math, and Physics. You can go for BCA as an alternative and still follow your passion - computers, the eligibility is low for BCA.
