    Candidates who are zealous in pursuing D.Ed have to fulfil the eligibility criteria in order to apply for admissions into various institutions offering this course. The eligibility criteria of D.Ed course is given below:
    Candidates should pass in class 12 in any stream from a recognised board. Aspirants should have at least 50% marks in aggregate. It is to be noted that the eligibility criteria may slightly differ depending upon the institute the candidate has applied for admission.     Diploma in Education is a certificate course in the field of education. Duration of course varies from 1 to 3 years in various colleges. It is a job oriented course to prepare candidates for primary level teachers roles. Minimum eligibility to do DEdn course is 10+2 in Science or Humanities with greater than 50%marks. Some states like Haryana, MP etc conduct their own entrance examination for admission in Diploma in Education.
