Candidates should pass in class 12 in any stream from a recognised board. Aspirants should have at least 50% marks in aggregate. Diploma in Education is a certificate course in the field of education. Duration of course varies from 1 to 3 years in various colleges. It is a job oriented course to prepare candidates for primary level teachers roles. Minimum eligibility to do DEdn course is 10+2 in Science or Humanities with greater than 50%marks. Some states like Haryana, MP etc conduct their own entrance examination for admission in Diploma in Education.
