Can I pursue Diploma in civil engineering after completing class 12th in commerce?

You will be admitted on the basis of 10th, not 12th with commerce base as you can enter into second year of Diploma programme only if our 12th is with PCM. In some of the institutions, only Physics & Maths are there as compulsory subjects, not even Chemistry. So, please check the eligibility criteria of that particular institution. But, according to me, you won't regret if you take admission in Diploma in Civil engineering based on the basis of 10th as it will be worth. Why? I think, you cannot do that and rather you can join Diploma on your class 10th basis, which will not be a problem at all. But, remember that the subject and the syllabus will be totally different from what you have studied.

No, you need to start studying physics, chemistry, maths rather than accountancy, business studies, economics, English, IP and Hindi. If you opted for commerce in class 12th then you need to take the board exam in the coming year. A commerce intermediate student is not able to do any sort of B.Tech or civil engineering course.
