    You should not go for a distance programme, if you are younger and going to pursue your first degree. Distance programs are for those who are in job and may be joining their higher or second degree. Secondly, you should know that distance programs in engineering are not valid. Moreover, an economically poor guy can go for that in case he/ she is not able in pursuing regular one. And, this is I am talking about non-engineering programs which are valid in distance education.
