Yes, you can. If you do not have 60% in 12th then go for Diploma Lateral entry. The eligibility is to pass with 50% aggregate marks in ITI (in Technical field) 1 year/ 2 year Certificate course or 2 years' Diploma from SLIET or 10+2 Vocational (in Technical field) or 10+2 (Non-Medical) or equivalent from any recognised Board/ Council. If you have 60% in class 12th then appear for LPU NEST exam and take admission in B.Tech itself.

Rohit, you can do it. If you don't have 60% in 12th go for Diploma Lateral entry. Yes, you can pursue your Diploma in engineering course from LPU, provided that you satisfy the eligibility criteria for the same.

If you have done 12th from CBSE board and have 60% marks in PCM then you can directly take admission in B.Tech then why you want to do diploma and if you don't have the above required qualification then you can do diploma from LPU also and then do the B.Tech as your interest. Please do fast as the last date to apply with scholarship is 25 July 2017.
