Yes, you can definitely pursue a Diploma in Engineering from LPU! After Class 10, you can apply for 3-year Diploma courses in streams like Mechanical, Civil, CSE, and electronics and communication. It's a great option if you prefer practical, skill-based learning and want to start your engineering journey early in a well-equipped, industry-focused environment.

Yes, you can pursue a Diploma in Engineering from LPU, and it's a great choice if you want strong technical training right from the start. LPU offers well-designed Diploma programs with modern labs, experienced faculty, and plenty of hands-on learning. The best part is the smooth pathway to lateral entry in B.Tech after completing the diploma, along with good placement support for both Diploma and degree students. It's a solid option if you want industry-ready skills with good future opportunities.

Yes, you can pursue. You need to fulfill the eligibility criteria but first let me know in which stream you are interested?
  • Rohit, you can do it. If you don't have 60% in 12th go for Diploma Lateral entry. The eligibility is Pass with 50% aggregate marks in ITI (in Technical field) 1 year/ 2 years Certificate course or 2 years Diploma from SLIET or 10+2 Vocational (in Technical field) or 10+2 (Non-Medical) or equivalent from any recognized Board/ Council.
If you have 60% in class 12 then appear for LPUNEST exam and take admission in B.Tech itself.

If you have done 12th from CBSE board and have 60% marks in PCM then you can directly take admission in B.Tech then why you want to do diploma and if you don't have the above required qualification then you can do diploma from LPU also and then do the B.Tech as your interest. hi,

The reality of LPU placements is that opportunities are good, but outcomes depend a lot on the student. Many reputed companies visit the campus, and some students get very high packages, especially in CSE, IT, and Management. However, not everyone gets a top package; most students receive average to decent offers based on skills, communication, and internships. Placement support like aptitude training, interview preparation, and industry projects is strong, but students must actively participate and build profiles. In short, LPU provides a big platform, but your personal effort largely decides the final placement result.
