Can I pursue diploma in engineering from PUSA Polytechnic Delhi (regular mode) and B.Sc Physics from IGNOU (distance mode) simultaneously?

I am currently in Class 12th waiting for my board exams. I expect 70% (PCBM). I have interest in Physics. So , I want to pursue B.Sc Physics Hons. from DU but due to low marks, it seems doubtful to gain admission. Therefore, I wish to choose diploma in engineering (mechanical).
