    yes you can does diploma in engineering after 12th grade.
    but at very first prepare yourself for the entrance exam and secure good marks and good rank in it.

    Diploma after 12th wont be beneficial, after 12th you should opt for a degree course (B.Tech/BE). Diploma is beneficial only if you pursue it after class 10th.
