Can I pursue distance M.Tech in Structural Engineering after completing B.E in Civil engineering?
BE (Civil) 86% (Gold medalist) in 2001 from Jalpaiguri Govt Engg. College, West Bengal.
Work experience of 13 years in the field of Structural Analysis and Designs.

Hi,
1) Yes, you can pursue M.Tech in Structural engineering after completing B.Tech in Civil engineering.
2) B.E/B.Tech and M.E/M.Tech cannot be pursued through correspondence mode as such degrees are not approved by AICTE.

M.Tech. and B.Tech. are not valid through distance mode as AICTE does not approve such courses. There are some fraudulent institutes who misguide candidates by offering distance mode PG. Since, you are a working professional, it will be difficult for you to join regular M.Tech., although attendance

Hi, Most of the Universities are offering M.Tech in Civil Trade in which u can take specialization as structure.

Hi yes u can do M.Tech but ur trade will be civil in which u cantake ur specializaion as structure. There r few universities which r providing M.Tech thru distance learning.
