Can I pursue engineering and English literature together?
I have a greater interest in writing and English literature, there is a need for me to go with engineering as my parents want.

Hello Yukta, I can totally sympathise with you. I understand your angst and desires. Frankly speaking, best course is to talk directly with your mom & dad and explain to them desires. I will give you some ammunition. As per data of HRD ministry, 50% of fresh engineering graduates remain jobless. So

As a parent, many a times we impose our views on children. But if children are firm, parents surely will reconcile. Definitely, no father would want to hurt his daughter.
