Can I pursue engineering?

Hello Ajay, Don't lose hope just because you had to repeat a year in class 11th. There is still a lot of scope for you in engineering. At the moment your primary concern should be on understanding the basics of Science, Mathematics and Computers (especially Science and mathematics) to boost your board percentage. Further, these basics will form your foundation in engineering. Along with this, you need to start preparing for IIT/AIEEE entrance examinations. You can also appear for individual state examinations (OJEE for Odisha, COMEDK for Karnataka, EAMCET for Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana etc.) if you wish. Just ensure that once you get into engineering, keep a percentage of above 70 (without any backlogs) to be eligible for placement in most companies. If asked about the year loss in class 11, be honest. If you are confident that you can work hard, learn and score, engineering is for you. I hope I have been able to answer your queries.
