Can I pursue M.Com (correspondence) and B.Ed (regular) both from Mumbai University?

    It is not possible in case of Mumbai University, as per UGC guideline. You can choose any one of the course, but if you want to do both then you have a choice of doing it from two different universities. You can do M.Com from Mumbai University and B.Ed from YCMOU or IGNOU or vice versa. But, to do both the degrees simultaneously, you have to be focused and you have to do a lot of study. It is up to you how to go ahead. The choice is yours.

    Hi,
    As per UGC guidelines, you can't pursue both course in same interval of time. It is an illegal activity.

    You cannot pursue 2 degrees from the same college, as per UGC guidelines. You can take these courses from different universities.

    According to the decision of the DEC, while a student cannot pursue two degree programmes simultaneously, he can do the same through distance or combination of distance and regular modes from the same or different university/institution in various combinations.

    What you are saying, is not possible in case of Mumbai University, as per UGC guideline. You can choose any one of the course, but if you want to do both then you have choice of doing it from two different universities. You can do M.Com from Mumbai University and B.Ed from YCMOU or IGNOU or vice versa. But, to do both degrees simultaneously you have to be focused and you have to do a lot study. It is up to you how to go ahead. Choice is yours all. All the best.

    Both are different courses which cannot be pursued simultaneously. First choose which most important go is for that.

    Yes, you can do two degree simultaneously if you are doing these two through different modes (ie. One through regular mode and other through distance education). A few good universities are: Delhi University, Delhi, Lovely Professional University- Punjab, VIT University Tamilnadu, Jamia Millia Islamia University Delhi, NMIMS Mumbai, Anna University Tamil Nadu, University of Mumbai, University of Kolkata, Pune University, University of Hyderabad, Delhi University, AMU The Maharaj Sayaji Rao University, JNU Delhi. Savitribai phulle University, Annamalai University.
