Can I pursue M.Sc Chemistry from Delhi University? What is criteria to get admission? How can I prepare for entrance?

Please find the details of admission for M.SC chemistry course in DEHI UNIVERSITY: Eligibility: B.Sc. (Hons.) Chemistry (3 years course after 10+2) from Delhi University or any other University whose examination is recognized as equivalent to University of Delhi and fulfill other conditions of eligibility. B.Sc. (Hons.) Chemistry with 50% or above marks in aggregate and 50% or above marks in Chemistry. Candidate must have passed 10+2 (Senior Secondary) or equivalent examination recognized by the University of Delhi and B.Sc. (Hons.) Chemistry examination with Mathematics as one of the subjects. OR B.Sc. (Genl.)/B.Sc. (Pass)/B.Sc. (Prog.) (3 years course after 10+2) from Delhi University or any other University whose examinations are recognized as equivalent to Delhi University and fulfill other conditions of eligibility. B.Sc. (Gen./Programme) with 60% or above marks in aggregate and 60% or above marks in Chemistry. Candidate must have passed 10+2 (Senior Secondary) or equivalent examination recognized by the University of Delhi and B.Sc. (Genl.)/B.Sc. (Pass)/B.Sc. (Prog.) examination with Mathematics as one of the Subjects. Duration of Course: Three years Total number of students to be admitted: Twenty Eligibility criteria for admission: 1. 50% Seats, i.e. 10 seats will be filled up on the basis of merit based on marks obtained by the candidates who have secured 60% or above marks in aggregate and 60% or above marks in Chemistry in B.Sc. (Hons.) courses examination from University of Delhi. 2. Remaining 50% seats, i.e. 10 seats will be filled up on the basis of merit based on marks obtained by the candidate in the entrance test to M.Tech. [CSPT] admission, conducted by the Department of Chemistry, University of Delhi, Delhi. 3. In addition to having passed B.Sc.(Hons.) the candidates seeking admission to M. Tech. course should have passed 10+2 (senior secondary) or equivalent examination recognized by the University of Delhi with Mathematics as one of the subjects. 4. Mode / Method of admission:- Out of 20 (Twenty) seats, 10 seats will be filled up on the basis of merit based on marks obtained by the candidates who have secured 60% or above marks in aggregate and 60% or above marks in Chemistry in B.Sc. (Hons.) courses examination from University of Delhi and 10 seats will be filled up on the basis of merit based on marks obtained by the candidate in the Entrance test to M.Tech. Admission, conducted by the Department of Chemistry, University.

Hello Shruti, Unfortunately I don't think you will make a cut for Delhi University with your marks. But don't get disappointed as you have so many other universities. Why don't you try for Universities in Punjab itself as your chances will be much higher.
