    Dear Thomas,
No, you can't pursue it as the eligibility says Pass with 60% aggregate marks in B.Sc. (Forensic Science or Biology or Physics or Chemistry or Biochemistry or Microbiology or Biotechnology) or B.Pharma. Or MBBS or BDS or BHMS or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPU-NEST.
    or
In case marks scored in graduation are 70% or above, then LPU-NEST will be exempted and candidate may apply for admission. For more details contact the university or check their website.
    Good luck.

If you have completed graduation in (Physics / bio / chemistry / Zoology / Botany / Biochemistry / Microbiology / Applied Medical Sciences / Biotechnology) / engineering / pharmacy / medicine / BDS then you are eligible for admission. The percentage in last qualifying exam (graduation) required for admission in M.Sc may vary with the university (50-60%). In reputed institutes, admission is done through entrance exam, whereas, in other institutes, you can take direct admission.

Yes LPU is a good university in terms of faculty, facilities, hostel, infrastructure, academics, extra-curriculum and for placements. So, if you are looking forward to study B.Sc. Forensics from LPU you can. And I have heard LPU organizes their own entrance test and provide scholarship based on the marks scored in that test. If you want more information related to the course, duration, eligibility etc. You can visit the website of LPU that is www.lpu.in for fee structure go in this link.

  • Dear Unnimaria, sorry to say you're not eligible for M.Sc forensic science in anywhere. Since for M.Sc forensic science eligibility is graduation in life sciences/paramedical/forensic science. If you're ambitious to pursue M.Sc forensic science then pursue Bachelor again in forensic science then Master degree. All the Best for your future.

Hi there,

Yes, LPU conducted LPUNEST entrance test for its various programmes. However, it depends upon in which stream you want to take admission. For many UG/PG programmes such as btech, B.Sc agriculture, law, management etc. test is mandatory for both admission and scholarship purpose. For some other courses such as computer application, BBA, hotel management, Bsc IT,   commerce,   arts etc. test is only for scholarship purpose .

I hope this helps,

Thank you.

Both Chandigarh University (CU) and Lovely Professional University (LPU) are known for engineering, but if we think of Electrical Engineering, LPU appears better in many ways. As a student, I personally feel that LPU has a very practical approach to learning. Their labs are state of the art, and well-resourced, and I find that the faculty usually support us to work on real-time projects, which build confidence to take on challenges in industry. Dear reader,

Taking admission at LPU is a great choice. LPUNEST is their own entrance and scholarship exam.

The candidate's merit rank on the test and the courses and specializations they selected during the online preference submission are the main factors used to assign seats for LPU NEST counseling.  The availability of seats in the selected programs is another factor that affects allocation.

For more information kindly contact their concerned department.

I hope this information helps.
