    Yes, you are eligible for M.Sc. In genetics if you didn't have maths in your higher secondary education. The applicants should have a Bachelors degree under any registered University in respective subjects like Botany, Genetics, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Genetics, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, Molecular Biology and Biomedical Sciences in Science stream. Most institutes in India offering M.Sc. Genetics course admit candidates on the basis of their performance in a relevant entrance examination.
