Can I pursue M.Sc in botany, biotechnology after doing B.Sc general? Is it necessary to pursue B.Sc in botany to pursue M.Sc in botany?

Yes, it is necessary for M.Sc to get a degree in the same subject. So, if you want to do M.Sc in botany you have to do B.Sc in the same.

No , you can't as earlier said. B.Sc in biotechnology is necessary for M.Sc in biotechnology.
Both are different fields hence Bachelor's degree is needed for M.Sc in same subject.
