    Forensic Science is a niche specialized field of Science with very limited career scope. Most of the jobs in field of Forensic Science graduates are in Government sectors such as Police, CBI, IB, R&D centre and teaching.
    Lok Nayak Jayaprakash Narayan National Institute of Criminology and Forensic Science, Rohini, Delhi runs M.Sc. Forensic Science course. Eligibility for course is B.Sc Degree from any recognized University with at least 50% marks in the aggregate. The candidate must have studied for at least 2 year (4 semesters) of 3 years degree course, any 2 subjects out of (a) Physics, (b) Chemistry (c) Biology (Zoology/ Genetics/ Bio

    Dear Sanjay,
    Forensic Science is also an allied subject of Life Sciences or Biological Sciences. Therefore as you are graduated from Life Sciences you are definitely eligible for pursuing Masters or M.Sc. In Forensic Sciences from any recognised institutes or universities from India or even abroad. Best of luck!

    Eligibilty:
    Bachelors degree in Science/ engineering / pharmacy/ medicine, obtained from a recognised university. A minimum aggregate score of 60% at the level of graduation. Yes, you can apply.
