can i pursue M.SC maths afetr B-tech I want to become A Mthats lecturer at college level please help me

i had a doubt. actually i am very good at doing mathematics and am pursuing b-tech(ece branch) i want to get into lecturership so wanted to continue my further education in M. Sc(maths) instead of m-tech. is it advicable to do M.Sc after b-tech? i want your suggestion for my career
