No you cant do M.Sc. Physics only. You can join iisc in integrated Ph.D. course after B.Sc. In which you will be given both M.Sc. And Ph.D. degree together after 6-7 years. It is little different course than doing M.Sc. And Ph.D. separately. In this your Ph.D. supervisor and work is decided in second year of M.Sc. Itself. In this course you save 1 year. Admission happens by IIT JAM Physics or JEST exam. If you have top rank in any of two exam. They will call you for interview. And select you after interview.
