Can I pursue MA in history?
I did B.Com & currently pursuing B.Ed in SST & English along with teaching social studies up to class 8th.

You can go for MA in history. After completing PG in history you can become eligible for PGT history for government services, but remember private schools do not consider it. So, it would be better to go for M.Com. Your B.Ed. subjects actually do not matter once you complete your PG.

Students having a Bachelor's degree in Arts or any other course are eligible to apply for MA provided they fulfill other requirements of the programme. M.A. or Master of Arts in History is a postgraduate degree of 2 years in the field of arts & humanities. This course can be pursued after completion of a Bachelor's degree. Note: Students who wish to pursue their education in the Management field or get a career boost, can check the MBA course.

After completing graduation, i.e Bachelor's degree you can apply for MA History.
