Yes, you can pursue MBA in any specialisation regardless of any commerce background. Students from various fields like B.Tech CSE, B.Tech mechanical and many other pursue MBA. But one must clear an equivalent test for admission. One must have a good percentile or rank in CMAT, XAT or CAT. In some private universities these test are not compulsory, they have their own test for eligibility and sometimes these CAT like test are used for giving scholarship according to rank and score.

    Hi,
The basic eligibility for pursuing an MBA is an undergraduate degree in any field. So even if you are from a non-commerce or science background you can still apply for the entrance exams. That course will not come in your way towards your ultimate goal.

Yes, why not. You can do MBA in any field after graduating. It doesn't matter from which stream you have done your graduation.

    Dear Samuya,
Regardless of his/her stream in graduation, one can pursue MBA in any stream. All you need to do is to secure a good percentile in CAT-GMAT and convince the interviewer about this transition. You don't need to worry at all, various students from politics, international relations, economics background also study MBAs.
