Can I pursue MBA or apply for a government job after completing my BCA through distance from SMU?

MCA is career route for BCA to become a software engineer, after that you can do M.Tech for teaching career or do MBA for management career.

Yes, you will be eligible for MBA and all government jobs where eligibility criteria is graduation degree.
