    Dear Sakshi, I have no idea about mechanical engineering from NIT Sikkim but being alumni of LPU I would like to say that both CSE and Mechanical Engineering at LPU are good. Commendable Placement: In LPU, more than 550+ national and multinational companies visit for placement. A few of them are Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, etc. In which they are placed. The maximum package availed for the Engineering programme is 42 LPA. Scholarships/Financial Assistance: LPU provides very good scholarships to bright students with good academic records, sports, or extracurricular activities achievement.     Lovely professional University is the best engineering college in Punjab for CSE. Number of admissions in CSE department have been increased rapidly and has become one of the popular courses among engineering aspirants.     I believe for CSE, LPU would be the best option. Let me share with you some of the details as well as highlights :

    Choosing LPU for engineering is a good option, be it any branch. You should go with your interest but choosing LPU is definitely a good choice. CSE from Lovely Professional University is always preferred among students. Being an Alumni of LPU from same course, I would say go for LPU.
