Medical science is a subject of study and not to read. Yes, if you just want to read, there are a lot of books available in the libraries and online and it's up to you whether you want to read.
As far as study is concerned, whether you are a middle class or rich background student, it doesn't matter. If you want to get admission at a low fee institute like AIIMS or government colleges, you really need to prove your worth by competing with Lacs of other students and you cannot have the excuse of being ordinary or average or poor. Poverty is not an obstacle in your dream, your own hard work and efforts definitely are.
