Yes, while doing engineering you can select Animation/VFX as an Open Elective Subjects. Many institutions including Lovely Professional University do provide such feature to get inclusive education. In such a way, LPU tries to pave a way for a candidate for various professions. -

Of course, you can study other subjects while doing engineering. Many Universities including Lovely Professional University has designed their curriculum in such a way that they offer open electives/open minors in which they can study the subjects of other streams. Thus, making a student an all-rounder. -
