  • Yes you can pursue PhD in Social Work in distance mode. There are a few colleges like Indira Gandhi National Open University, Vardhman Mahaveer Open University, Institute of Distance & Open Learning ( University of Mumbai) etc. in which you can study this course. Make sure that the college or university in which you take admission is recognised by the University Grants Commission. In these colleges you can get admission either based on entrance exam or based on merit. Your marks in school and graduation can also be considered.
